Visual artist

Born Oumar Cissé, he is a young visual artist who graduated from art school.

Oum’art graduated at the top of his class in the 41st graduating class of the National School of Arts of Senegal (ENA) in 2020–2021.

From a very young age, he has always been passionate about fashion, which has greatly fostered his interest in art and culture.

Thiès, the city where he grew up, is also known for being a rather unique cultural hub. This served as a catalyst for his career.

Previously, he worked with several youth organizations, and later he held various key positions within a number of organizations.

He dropped out of his studies in modern literature at Cheikh Anta Diop University in Dakar, in favor of the arts. In his spare time, he works on interior design.

During the course of the year 2022, he held an exhibition titled “kaal ci Senegal ” during the Dakar Biennale and in Popenguine to discuss the concept of kinship in a humorous way.
